Bike the Trail
Lock in Sunday March 4th 2018 for the annual Bike the Trail. Enjoy an awesome day out cycling along one of the country’s best trails – the Hutt River Trail! Join us Thursday 1st March at 10:30am to take a wander through Barton’s Bush and along the Hutt River Trail from the beautiful Trentham Memorial Park. Relax and unwind at the finish with a scrummy coffee and let the kids play in the brand new playground.

Family Fun Water Day
Bring the kids along to the Harcourt Park paddling pool for some fun around the water on Waitangi day (Tuesday 6 February) from 11am-1pm. The Activation team will be there with their famous slip and slides. Pack the togs, sunblock and a picnic and we will see you there.
HUHA Paws in the Park
Bring a picnic lunch and plastic bags for your dog’s poop. Come for a walk with your dog and explore the beautiful reserves around the Wellington region. Meet at 10am, walk is followed by fun games with your dog.

Kev the Kiwi
Join Greater Wellington Regional Council, Hutt City Council, Upper Hutt City Council and Kev the Kiwi in guided walks through scenic and historical tracks. Suitable for families with young children on buggy friendly tracks – these walks are a must to get out and about this summer.

Come along to Tunnel Gulley on Saturday March 10th for a mountain bike open day with guides in the morning taking people around the trail network tailored to their ability and want – starting at 10am. There will be a BBQ running for lunch at 12 followed by a FUNduro in the afternoon kicking off at 1pm.

Picnic and Play
Tuesday 13 March (postponement day- Thursday 15 March) from 5:30pm onwards
Join Activation for a family friendly picnic and play at Awakairangi Park- just over the Totara Park Bridge in Upper Hutt. Bring the whole family, pack a picnic, shake out the picnic rug, dust off your kites and slap on the sunblock!! We will have the awesome Play Pod there for the littlies, games of footy and backyard cricket going on for the youth and adults. Yummy real fruit ice cream available to purchase and a chill out picnic area for re fuelling and rehydrating!
Get the kids outdoors and go exploring at Staglands! A great place to take out of town visitors to as well! Time it right and you can enjoy some bonus daily activities:
11:30-3:30- free tractor- Trailer rides, meet at the Barn
12:45pm- Lunchtime feed tour, meet at the café
Stroll n Roll
